Agent,(601) 377-8578 Contractor shall promise all labor, material,
equipment, supervision required to paint interior surfaces at BOQ
300,301,302 & 304; exterior surfaces at BEQ 313 and 314; both located
at the Naval Construction Battalion Center, Gulfport, MS. The work
includes, but is not limited, to the following:INTERIOR PAINTING:
surface preparation of walls and ceilings prior to painting; repair
joints, cracks, holes, surface irregularities and other minor defects
with patching plaster or spackling compound and sand smooth. Gypsum
board shall be clean, dry and free from loose matter, remove loose dirt
and dust by brushing with a soft brush or rubbing with a dry cloth.
Within rooms requiring partial paint, perform surface preparation prior
to painting entire wall, inside corner to inside corner, with interior
eggshell latex to match existing color. EXTERIOR PAINTING: Cleaning
all exterior surfaces below the roof, removing any dirt and mildew,
removing rust stains from all masonry surfaces, cleaning the brick
surfaces to enhance appearance and preparing other surfaces in
preparation for painting, repairing any dents or holes in the concrete
texture surfaces, prepping metal doors, frames, guard rails, louvers,
hand rails, supports and stringers and any collateral work common and
consistent with preparing and repainting. The brick surfaces will not
be painted. Copies of specifications will be available on or about 20
MAR 97. This acquisition is unrestricted. All responsible sources may
submit a quotation which shall be considered. Firm Fixed Price.
Estimated cost is between $50,000.00 and $100,000.00. A site visit is
recommended but not required and will be held on 09 Apr 97 at Naval
Construction Battalion Center, Gulfport, MS, 9:00 AM CT, Bldg. 322,
