The purpose of this modification is to add the following information: This is a procurement notice. The anticipated issue date is 032897 and the proposal due date is 042897 at 4:00 p.m. at Northern Division, Naval Facilities Engineering Command, MS 82, Lester, PA 19112-2090. The contract completion period is 330 days for the base requirement. It is estimated that all options will be exercised within 300 days after award. The base contract shall be for the Advanced Machinery R&D Facility. Options 1 and 2 shall include other selected work items for the Advanced Machinery R&D Facility. Option 3 shall be for the Acoustic Systems R&D Facility while Option 4 shall include other significant work items for the Acoustic R&D Facility. Option 5 shall be for the Electrical Power Systems R&D Facility. Options 6 and 7 include other selected work items for the Electrical Power Systems R&D Facility. PROPOSALS FOR THE OPTIONS WILL BE EVALUATED BY ADDING THE TOTAL PRICE FOR ALL OPTIONS TO THE BASE REQUIREMENT. Evaluation of options will not obligate the government to exercise the options. Technical proposals shall be evaluated based on 1) Past Performance, 2) Technical Experience, and 3) Subcontracting Strategy.
