Z -- DEMOLITION/DISPOSAL OF LEAD-CONTAMINATED WOOD WALLS & RECONSTRUCTION DUE 032597 POC Hampton Spradley, PM, (912) 652-5921 The U.S. Army Engineer District, Savannah, intends to negotiate with CEBCO Construction, Inc., P.O. Box 476, Spring Lake, NC 28390-0476, on a sole-source basis to enter into a modification for repair of Maze "D" to contract DACA21-95-C-0149. This procurement will involve demolition and disposal of lead-contaminated wood-framed walls. Demolition will include disposal of lead-contaminated sand contained in walls to be demolished. Work will also include reconstruction of wood-framed walls and reinstallation of stock-piled sand in the walls interiors. The authority for this plan of action is U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) FAR 6.302-1(a)(1). Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. If a firm other than CEBCO Construction, Inc., P.O. Box 476, Spring Lake, NC 28390-0476, feels it can provide this service, it should submit a qualification package.
