Army Engineer District, Sacramento, intends to issue an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract for storage aids and materials handling systems for Department of Defense locations stateside and worldwide with a base year not-to-exceed $2.5 million dollars and four one-year option period (to be exercised solely at the Government's discretion) for the same amount. Task orders will be issued under the contract. The minimum guaranteed amount of the base year is two percent of the not-to-exceed amount; minimum amount for each option is one percent of the not-to-exceed amount. All equipment, materials and labor necessary to complete installation of these items will be required, as well as performing inspections and tests and adjusting the system and providing instructions to Government personnel. The acquisition method is negotiated procurement. A technical and price proposal will be required. Evaluation by the Government will result in selection of the firm that represents the best value to the government. This procurement will be conducted under SIC code: 5084. The size standard for this SIC code is: 100 employees. The proposed contract is 100% set aside for small business concerns. Solicitations for this project must be ordered by the CUT OFF DATE of 24 Mar 97 to ensure receipt of solicitation.. Orders received beyond the CUT OFF DATE will not be honored. There is NO CHARGE for the solicitation. Because a limited number will be reproduced, copies are limited to one set per firm. Solicitations will be mailed out on or about 28 Mar 97.
