The Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division (NAWCWPNS), Point Mugu, CA intends to issue a solicitation and award a contract on a sole source basis with Advanced Systems Division, Comptek Federal Systems, East Elmhurst, NY. NAWCWPNS intends to procure a variety of four (4) Flight Line Advanced Multiple Emitter Simulators (FLAMES) from Part No.s K12235-5, K12235-6, K12235-7 and K12235-8. These FLAMES are upgrades to existing AMES equipment and are necessary in order to maintain compatibility to the existing Electronic Compbat Simulation and Evaluation Laboratory (ECSEL) equipment located at NAWCWPNS Point Mugu. Advanced Systems Division is the manufacturer of the above mentioned equipment and maintains the prorietary data which is unavailable to other contractors. The Government contemplates a Firm Fixed Price Requirements Indefinite Delivery type contract, commencing at time of award with a three year period of performance.
