70 -- RSU 503L REDUNDANCY KITS AND SMS651/DA750P0 MODEM PROTECTION SWITCHES FOR EFDATA SDM6000 MODEMS SOL DATM01-97-R-0014 DUE 041197 POC Contact Elizabeth Arispe, Contract Specialist, (817) 288-9539, or Ted Panknin, Contracting Officer, (817) 288-1305 (Site Code DATM01) The Government intends to award a Purchase Order for 2 each SMS651/DA750P0 MODEM Protection Switches, or equal, for EFData SDM6000 MODEMS; and 2 each RSU 503L Redundancy Kits, or equal, with components consisting of amplifiers and coax switches, KSREDEDTO1C10 Redundant LNA Plates, KT/3950-1 Redundant Cable/Hardware, and KT/3577 Redundant KST Universal Mounting Kits. These electronic units will provide a true redundancy capability for inside (EFData SDM6000 MODEM) and outside (KST-12000 KU Band Terminal System) Government- owned electronic units. The subject devices will automatically switch to the back-up device in the event of the failure of the primary device. The subject devices must be able to interface with the Government-owned electronic units. Tentative Solicitation Issue Date is 03/25/97. All responsible sources may submit an offer. (0069)
