(NPS), Denver Service Center, is seeking a qualified firm(s),
individual(s), or group(s) with specialized expertise in natural and
cultural resources compliance matters for miscellaneous natural and
cultural resource planning and design projects in national park system
units throughout the United States and its territories, commonwealths,
etc. Specific projects include, but are not limited to: preparation of
compliance documents (environmental assessments and environmental
impact statements) and various sections thereof, to meet the
requirements of the National Environmental Protection Act, the National
Historic Preservation Act, and other laws, executive orders,
regulations, and guidelines as appropriate. Additional work includes
preparing national register forms, conducting natural and cultural
resource surveys, and other tasks contained within the field of natural
and cultural resource planning. In general, projects will be relatively
small and limited in scope, typically focusing on a few specific
issues. Required disciplines include natural resource specialist
(ecology, biology, zoology, botany, etc.); and cultural resource
specialist (history, archeology, anthropology, etc.). All services will
be provided under a blanket purchase order agreement (s). The total of
all work per year will not exceed $100,000 per purchase order.
Although nationwide capabilities is desirable, the NPS may opt to issue
a number of these blanket purchase order agreements on a geographical
basis, as well. There is no guaranteed minimum amount. All work will be
guided by NPS policies and directives. Interested parties will be
required to submit samples of their work along with a list of
references of previous clients. A request for quotations will be issued
approximately 15 days after publication of this requirement. Interested
