Supply Service-Washington on behalf of the Office of the Under
Secretary of Defense (Acquisition & Technology) Strategic & Tactical
Systems, has a requirement for a contractor to provide analytical
support. The office is responsible for the oversight of development and
fielding an effective mix of munitions. Specific requirements include
macro-level RD&A budget analysis, contingency-based inventory and
stockpile assessments, documenting the DoD munitions RD&A programs,
supporting related activities underway by OSD, the Joint Staff, CINCs
and Services, and maintaining a focus on warheads, explosives and
fuses. The scope of munitions includes lethal and nonlethal
conventional munitions in RD&A, inventory, and demilitarization status.
A full and open competitive solicitation will be issued on or about 28
March 1997. The incumbent contractor is BDM International, Inc.,
Contract Number MDA903-92-C- 0146. Freedom of Information Act (FOIA)
