The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) has a requirement for operation, maintenance, and provision of satellite transponder bandwidth for a government-owned 12 meter C-band Satellite Communications Data Relay System (SATCOM DRS) located at NAWCAD, Patuxent River MD. In addition, NAWCAD has a requirement for operation, maintenance and transponder bandwidth for a remote earth station site located at Ft. Worth TX. These earth stations provide NAWCAD with the capability of transmitting real-time aircraft and missile test data between NAWCAD, government aerospace contractors, and other government test ranges. Services are required for a base year period plus three one year option periods; performance to start 1 October 1997 through 30 September 1998. A firm fixed price contract is anticipated.
