FINAL SYNOPSIS -- Part A: The work includes interior and exterior demolition. Exterior demolition includes Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) and mechanical systems, doors, stucco walls, and associated appurtenances. Interior demolition includes stud walls, doors, windows, suspended ceilings, lighting, electrical systems, fire sprinkler system, mechanical, process piping and associated appurtenances. Interior demolition also includes removal of resilient flooring, base, and mastic which contains asbestos. Exterior work includes roofing, HVAC and mechanical systems, doors, stucco, and related work. Interior work includes doors, windows, stud walls, access flooring, conductive flooring, suspended ceilings, painting, installation of government-furnished equipment, lighting and electrical systems, mechanical, process piping and related work. Interior work includes certification of Class 100 Cleanrooms and Class 1000 Cleanroom Chases, and ultrapure process piping system. Part B: The work includes demolition of an acid neutralization system and related items. The work also includes an acid neutralization system with sump tanks, sump pumps, acid neutralization tanks, alarm system, double wall piping, and related electrical work and incidental related work complete and ready for use. -- The estimated cost is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. -- Firm Fixed Price Contract. -- Contract duration is 120 calendar days. -- Bids will be considered from all responsible sources. -- This project is unrestricted. -- The Standard Industrial Code (SIC) is 1731 and the annual size standard is $7 million. -- It is recommended the subcontracting plan goals reflect a minimum goal of 5% for Small Disadvantaged Business Subcontracting effort. -- NOTE: Plans and specs will not be mailed to firms within a 20 mile radius of the issuing office. A fee will charged for all plans and specs.
