Work includes strengthening concrete foundations; bracing steel frames, masonry walls, piping, existing equipment, lighting, and plumbing. Work includes rerouting electrical and plumbing to accommodate bracing. Asbestos abatement and lead abatement will also be required. This procurement is being conducted under the NASA MidRange Pilot Test Program approved by the Office of Federal Procurement Policy. The order of magnitude for the procurement is $500,000.00-$1 million and the effort shall be completed within 210 calendar days after notice to proceed. This procurement is a total small business set-aside; labor surplus area. The Standard Industrial Classification Code for the procurement is 1542. The corresponding size standard is 17.0 million. The anticipated release date of the RFO is on or about April 1, 1997 with an anticipated offer closing date of on or about May 1, 1997. The firm date for receipt of offers will be stated in the RFO.
