The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) intends to issue a solicitation, full and open competition, for construction to increase the lighting in the Platemaking area of the Western Currency Facility in Fort Worth, Texas. The estimated award amount for this project is under $50,000. Bids should reference the solicitation number WCF97-007. This requirement is 100% set-aside for Small Business. Work should include, but is not limited to, adding new fixtures, lowering several existing fixtures and re-lamping the entire platemaking area. This project will be issued fifteen (15) days after being placed in the Commerce Business Daily and requests for bids will be received within two (2) weeks following issuance.
