The contractor shall provide all labor, material, equipment and transportation necessary to renovate/upgrade the following four (4) Microwave sites in South Dakota: Watertown, Clark, Highmore, and Wessington Springs. The general components of work include : Remove and dispose of six aluminum storm doors and eight steel entrance doors; Remove and dispose of six concrete entrance slabe; Remove existing roof flashing and downspouts; Remove and dispose of rain hoods and modify/block-in openings. Furnish and install eight new walk doors, frames, and door hardware; Construct eight new concrete entrance slabs; Furnish and install chain link fence; Electrically ground chain link fence. Furnish and install wood furring strips to exterior walls; Furnish and install 2 1/2-inch thick rigid insulation; Furnish and install steel siding; Electrically ground steel siding; Fabricate and install new roof flashing and gutters; Paint walk doors, frames, and rain hoods; Reset existing splash blocks. This solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis on or about March 28, 1997. The standard industrial classification code for this project is 1542. All work shall be completed within 110 calendar days after receipt of notice to proceed. Estimated construction magnitude is between $25,000 and $100,000. All responsible business concerns may submit a quote which shall be considered by this Agency.
