equipment, supervision and transportation required to repair and
stabilize the waterfront at USCG Station Wrightsville Beach, North
Carolina in accordance with the plans and specifications. Major items
of work include; Basic Bid Item B-1, Installation of rip-slope
protection, backfilling behind bulkhead, timber deck repair, crack and
spall repair on the main pier and replacement of damaged fender piles.
Additional Unit Work Item 2: Replacement of the floating pier including
gangway, guide piles and utilities. Performance period is 240 DANTP.
Estimated range is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. The SIC Code
for this project is 1629. Size standard is $17.0 million dollars. All
responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered by the
agency. This is an unrestricted acquisition and open to both small and
large business pursuant to the Small Business Competitiveness

for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned, and Disadvantaged
Business Enterprises: The DOT Office of Small and Disadvantaged
Business Utilization (OSDBU), has programs to assist minority,
women-owned and disadvantaged business enterprises to acquire
short-term working capital and bonding assistance for transportation
related contracts. This is applicable to any eligible prime or
subcontract at any tier. The DOT Bonding Assistance Program enables
firms to apply for bid, payment, and performance bonds up to
$1,000,000.00 per contract. The DOT provides an 80% guarantee on the
bond amount to a surety against losses. Loans are also available under
the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to
provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is
