16 -- F-16 RECURRING PRODUCTION SUPPORT SOL F33657-96-C-2025,P00003 POC Gene D. Smith, Contracting Officer (937) 255-6581 The F-16 System Program Office, ASC/YPKKB, intends to award a contract to provide production sustaining support for the F-16 aircraft manufacture.. The recurring production support is level-of-effort tasks that are not customer peculiar, but common to all ongoing F-16 airframe production programs. The tasks are recurring production related activities which occur simultaneously to the manufacture and delivery of F-16 aircraft. The following funtional disciplines are included in this effort and are an integral part of the overall production program: Research and Engineering, Program Office, Administrative Department, Logisitics and production. The F-16 System Prorgam Office is not able to provide tooling or data, so the contractor must be able to perform this effort using existing facilities and data. Lockheed Martin Tactical Aircraft Systems is the intended source pursuant to the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1). Direct all requests concerning this acquisition to Gene D. The only purpose of the Ombudsman is to receive and communicate serious concerns from potential offerors when an offeror prefers not to use established channels to communicate his/her concerns during the proposal development phase of this acquisition.
