3020-01-426-3855, Sheave Wheel, replacement sheaves for each of the
above listed Tackle Blocks, est. qty. 12 each. Blocks shall be used on
the 180' WLB Buoy Tender Boom Systems. Block material shall be steel
overall. Blocks shall be complete with side plates and spacer plate
between each sheave. Shackles shall not be included with the blocks.
Sheaves shall be equipped with roller bearings and grease seals.
Bearings shall have both inner and outer race and shall be sized for
the 3.94" main shaft. Sheave hub width shall be 2.875". Requirement
will be for one (1) base year and four (4) option years. Delivery shall
be F.O.B. Destination to Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center,
Receiving Room, Bldg. #86, 2401 Hawkins Point Road, Baltimore, MD
21226-5000. Delivery to be sixty (60) days after issuance of a delivery
order. The solicitation will include a requirement to submit technical
information adequate to ensure the items being offered are equal to
Crosby/McKissick part numbers as referenced within this notice. When
calling be prepared to state your name, address, and the solicitation
number. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be
considered by the agency. See Numbered Note 12. This Notice is for
informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned, and Disadvantaged
Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of
Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU), has a program to
assist minority, women-owned, and disadvantaged business enterprises
to acquire short-term working capital assistance for
transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT
Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to prime
interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum
