N -- POWER ROLLER CONVEYOR SYSTEM FOR BLDG. 1012 AND 1118, 2D FSSG INTERMEDIATE SUPPLY SUPPORT ACTIVITY, MCB, CLNC SOL N62470-97-Q-3571 DUE 043097 POC Kathie Rowe, (910) 451-2582, FAX (910) 451-5629 This Request for Quotation (RFQ), in support of the Intermediate Supply Activity's (ISSA) storage facility, is for the purchase and installation of a powered, roller type conveyor system with a continuous width of 24 inches, and incidental related work. The system will be suspended from the ceiling and will include a powered incline and accumulation area for totes. The conveyor will move totes from the storage area to the shipping area. A portion of the conveyor will run outside of the warehouses under the overhang that connects the two buildings. The required system shall be a low maintenance operation with a high degree of safety for warehouse personnel. This RFQ, issued pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) 13.106-2 under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP), will be awarded on a "Best Value" concept in accordance with evaluation criteria set forth in the solicitation. The RFQ is unrestricted with an estimated cost range of $25,000 to $100,000. All responsible sources may submit a quote that will be considered. Plans and specs will be available on or about 31 March 1997 until supplies are exhausted. No deposit is required. The closing date for receipt of quotes will be on or about 30 April 1997.
