enter into Basic Ordering Agreements (BOA's), for emergency removal and
disposal of oil and/or hazardous substance spills from waterways and
adjoining shorelines as specified in the National Contingency Plan, 40
CFR 300, the Federal Water Pollution Control Act of 1971, as amended,
the Comprehensive Environmental Response Cleanup and Liability Act
(CERCLA) of 1980, as amended, and the Oil Pollution Act (OPA) of 1990.
The area of coverage will be the United States east of the Rocky
Mountains, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin islands. It is anticipated that
the solicitation package will be issued approximately 31 March 1997.
Proposals are due no later than 4:30 pm, 30 April 1997. To receive a
solicitation and be placed on the mailing list interested parties shall
submit a written request. No telephone requests will be honored. Any
correspondence shall reference solicitation number DTCG84-97-R-300001.
