It is the intent to award this requirement as a sole source to the University of Northern Iowa. This service has been synopsized for the past two years with no results. Early award is anticipated due to time constraints. Charleston AFB, SC is soliciting proposals for a Youth Summer Day Camp Program. The program will provide leisure arts and crafts, sports and social activities for U.S. military and eligible civilian dependent youths ages 5-12. Staffing for the program should consist of a Project director, Youth activities director and 8 camp counselors (one of which will be considered the camp director). All contract staff must meet standard youth activities guidelines in reference to freedom from communicable diseases, drug abuse, and child abuse. The staff must also comply with requirements for review of personnel and security records to include FBI fingerprint check and State Criminal History Repository check. All contractors who wish to submit a proposal on this solicitation shoud submit information that will permit evaluation of their capabilities by 28 March 1997.
