Villaluz, Contracting Officer Provide Architect/Engineer services to install all utilities and patient bedside units (PBUs) in the Nursing Home Care Unit (NHCU) required for use of ventilators for 16 beds at the VA Medical Center, 130 W. Kingsbridge Road, Bronx, NY 10468. Work includes, but is not limited to installation of life support emergency power, medical air, medical vacuum, and modification of existing oxygen system. The A/E shall develop construction drawings and specifications required for the installation and provide construction period services. Sic Code assigned is 8712. A firm-fixed price contract is anticipated to be awarded. Award is subject to the availability of funds. All interested parties are invited to submit qualifications to the Contracting Officer in the form of SFs 254/255. Please ensure that all required information is submitted and accurate. Firms should include all relevant information regarding past projects designed which are similar in this project. All responses are to be received by the ContractingOfficer no later that 4:30 pm on 3/31/97. This is not a request for proposal.
