The Maintenance and Logistic Command Pacific Area is proposing a contract for the Drydock and Repairs of USCGC POINT STUART homeported Newport Beach, CA. The work shall be performed at the contractor's facility. The Period of performance starts 11 August 1997 through 13 September 1997. The solicitation will be issued on or about 23 Apr 1997. Major work items include but are not limited to: temporary services, drydocking/hauling, underwater body preservation (100%), sea valve & waster piece overhaul, boat boom biennial overhaul, fuel oil tank cleaning & inspection, sewage tank cleaning & inspection, electric motor overhaul, heat exchanger cleaning and testing, electric meter calibration, sewage space preservation, steering cable & hydraulic booster inspection & overhaul, fathometer transducer renewal, king post preservation and weather deck preservation and flush mount scuttle installation. This is in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program.
