HUD intends to award one contract to provide management and related services for single family properties which are owned by or in the custody of HUD in the geographic area described as Chicago Area 21 -- from Division Street North to the City Limits and from the Lake to the Western City Limits. This area is currently part of Chicago Areas 21 and 22 under separate contracts. Contract award as a result of this RFP combines Chicago Areas 21 and 22 and the new area is names Chicago Area 21. The contractor shall be required to perform professional management services which requires day to day services in the form of inspections, debris removal, lawn maintenance, winterization, etc. See Numbered Note 1. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code is 6531. The term of the contract is for one base year with two one-year options to extend the term of the contract.
