The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), Oak Ridge Operations Office, intends to issue a Request for Proposals for energy conservation services under indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contracts. The DOE Federal Energy Management Program is using Super Energy Savings Performance Contracts to assist federal agencies in acquiring energy savings retrofits for their facilities. It is anticipated that there will be five to seven awards resulting from this solicitation. The scope of the multiple IDIQ awards will include federal facilities throughout the Southeast Region including the states of Kentucky, Tennessee, N. Carolina, S. Carolina, Arkansas, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, and the territories of Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands. Federal agencies will acquire energy services via delivery orders against the IDIQs. Energy services will improve building and facility energy efficiency or reduce utility and related operations and maintenance costs of energy consuming systems at federal facilities. All offerors must be shown on the DOE "Qualified List of Energy Service Companies." Applications to be entered on the list can be obtained by calling 800-363-3732.
