Z -- INSTALLATION OF LIGHTNING AND GROUNDING PROTECTION SOL F03602-97-1539 DUE 052397 POC Contact Capt Daniel Wuchenich, (501) 988-3849, or Contracting Officer, Loretta Zimmer, (501) 988-3379; Facsimile Number (501) 988-8119 The principle features of work for this project are, but are not limited to: (a) Install lightning protection at four (4) locations within a sixty (60) mile radius; (b) Install copper or aluminum air terminals; (c) Install lightning arrester for all electrical service and telephone system; (d) Properly match Transient Voltage Surge Suppression (TVSS) equipment to equipment being protected; (e) Interconnect all air terminals copper or aluminum mainconductors of the size required by UL96-A and NFPA-780 code requirements and provide twoway path to the ground from each air terminal; (f) Install Grounding Rod Electrodes; (g) Install Grounding electrode Conductors. This is a firm fixed price purchase order. The performance period will be 60 days. this procurement is being issued on an unrestriced basis. This office proposes to issue RFQ F03602-97-T1539 on or about 24 Apr 97. Only written requests for solicitation packages will be accepted. (0070)
