RESHEW, (601) 689-8375 Naval Oceanographic Office intends to award an indefinite delivery type contract to Klein Associates, Inc. for spare parts and support for the Klein Model 2000 and Model 595 Side Scan Sonar Systems presently in inventory. The contract will be issued under other than full and open competition, in accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1 as stated requirements can only be satisfied by the manufacturer of the systems in inventory. The contract will be for one base year and four option years. The solicitation, N62306-97-R-0001, to be processed under FAR Part 12 for commercial products, is anticipated to be issued o/a 20 April 1997 with a closing date to be 30 days after issuance.
