The three 4-way vacuum switches/SF6 are to include: Three fiberglass equipment enclosures, light brown, 304 SS hardware, penta bolt locking system; must provide protection for vacuum switch from elements and easy access for repair or maintenance. Three vacuum loadbreak/fault interrupter switches, SF6 insulation, 15kV, 95 BIL, 200 amp, 4-way, 34kV AC withstand, 3-phase, group operated, 60 hertz, deadfront, 12 kA, monetary and fault close (SYM) or 20 kA (ASYM), hermetically sealed 304L SS tank pressure gauge, in conformance with ANSI C37.60 and C37.72, one source circuit to be 200A continuous and loadbreak/remote operator, three tap circuits to be 200 amp continuous and 200kA (SYM) interrupting. Three motor operated control local and remote operation, totally enclosed induction type motor, duff-norton type mini-pac. Nine electronic controls for fault interrupting, overcurrent protection, powered by internal current transformers, trip settings. Three control power transformer deadfront, 7970V to 120V, 95kV Bil, with internal primary fuse. Three control cabinets include: 3-mode selector switch, local-off-remote six open/close pushbuttons, six open/close indicator lights, one control power on/off switch, one backpanel with fuse block, terminal blocks, wiring, etc., one fiberglass cabinet, 12"Wx14"Hx8"D. The switches will be used on a high voltage 13.8kV distribution system. The one 4-way vacuum switch with AFIS is to include: 15kV, 95kV Bil, 3-phase 4-way vacpac with automatic fault interrupting system. Vacpac is vacuum interrupting switch with SF6 insulation in a stainless steel tank rated for 12kA (SYM) fault interrupting and 20kA (ASYM) momentary and fault close; two source ways feature manual hookstick operation with 6-200A bushing wells; two tap ways feature automatic fault interruption with electrical trip and manual reset with 6-200A bushing wells; automatic fault interrupting system features Vacop III stored energy spring operators and 3-phase overcurrent protection. Vacpac and controls are housed in a fiberglass enclosure measuring 53"Wx72"Dx60"H. AFIS system includes: one NEMA 4-control cabinet; two Vacop III stored energy spring operators; two Vacop III capacitor trip panels; six current transformers rate D200:5; two potential transformers for control power from either source way. This acquisition is 100% set aside for small businesses. The applicable SIC code and size standard are 3625/750 employees. Solicitation issue date of 1 Apr 97 and proposal due date of 1 May 97 are tentative.
