U.S ARMY CECOM intends to procure the following under full and open competition. The contract resulting from this solicitation shall be an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) -- Firm Fixed Price contract with an ordering period of five years. Delivery orders will be issued to notify the contractors of delivery, delivery schedules, and destination. Indefinite quantity portion of the contract- The ARMY intends to procure Battery BB558/A (nsn: 6140 01 186 8802); BB559/A Cell Pkg. (19 cells per package) (nsn: 6140 01 211 9906); and the BB558/A Harness Kit (nsn: 6150 01 272 4997). CECOM intends to procure these items under performance specification #A3263275. The Government guarantees acquisition of 632 each of the BB558/A Battery; 230 of the BB559/A Cell Pkg., and 200 each of the BB558/A Harness Kit. The estimated contract quantity over the life of the contract is 3000 each for the BB558/A, 1500 pkgs. for the BB559/A Cell, and 1500 each for the BB558/A Harness Kit. The contractor shall perform First Article Testing in accordance with FAR 52.209-03 and the contract's Statement of Work. The contractor shall also perform a Group C Sampling Analysis inspection and report for delivery. Contract items in the first production lot shall not be delivered to the Government until Group C inspection is completed successfully. Other Government documents, drawings, and publications will be available for identifying critical dimension requirements cited within this specification and for illustration purposes only to assist in identifying dimension reference planes and component orientation. The U.S. Army Communications Electronics Command (CECOM) has established an Electronic Bulletin Board (EBB) to provide electronic transmittal of Request for Proposals (RFPs) and Invitations for Bids (IFBs) from Government to Industry. All interested parties wishing to do business with CECOM are invited to access, operate, send and receive data from the CECOM EBB system. To become a user of the EBB, you will need an identification code and password in addition to a computer terminal equipped with the necessary hardware and software to interface with the EBB system. A user's identification code and password will be issued upon request along with instructions for downloading the EBB User's Manual. All requests must include (1) company name, (2) point(s) of contact name(s) and title(s), (3) return address(es) and (4) telephone number(s).
