management and operating contractor for the Department of Energy (DOE)
at the Idaho National Engineering & Environmental Laboratory is
issuing this Request for Interest (RFI). Special Requirements --
Responding laboratories shall possess a Nuclear Regulatory Commission
(NRC) or agreement State license that specifically states they may
receive radioisotopes of any atomic number in any form. This would
include samples received for analysis. The laboratory shall be able to
perform the following tests on hazardous waste that is regulated under
both the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) and the Toxic
Substances Control Act (TSCA) because of its polychlorinated biphenyl
(PCB) content: Sampling and Shipping Schedule. Matrix=1-Liquid/sludge;
Number of samples by matrix(a) 17 (ARA-02); Analysis(b) 2,3,6-8;
Anticipated ship dates(c)-Upon Subcontract Award. Matrix=2-Soil/sludge;
Number of samples by Matrix(a) 7 (ARA-02); Analysis(b) 1,4,5,8;
Anticipated ship dates(c)-Upon Subcontract Award. a.This is the
estimated maximum number of samples to be collected from the ARA-02
Removal Action sampling activities. b.The following is the key for the
numbers used in the analysis column: c.This is a tentative shipping

and shall declare their capability of performing the listed tests.
