The performance period is from 9 June 1997 through 27 June 1997. Solicitation pursuant to the Small Business Demonstration Program will be issued on or about 2 April 1997 with an estimated opening date of 5 May 1997. All responsible sources may submit bids which will be considered by the agency. For Women-owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises, the Department of transportation (DOT) Minority Office of Small adn Disadvantaged Business Utilization has programs to assist minority, women-owned and disadvantaged enterprises to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short term Lending Program (TLP) at the prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000.
