Roberts (608) 388-3109 (Site Code DAKF61) The Directorate of Contracting, Fort McCoy, WI intends to negotiate and award a contract to Digital Equipment Corporation, Schaumburg, Illinois to de-install, transport, insure, and re-install all Battle Projection Center Simulation Computers and peripheral equipment from the current location at Fort Sheridan, IL to Arlington Heights, IL. Upon completion of the installation all equipment must be certified in order for the Simulation Contractors to assume responsibility of the equipment. Authority: 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1) services are available from only one or a limited number of sources. As a result of analyzing responses to this synopsis of intent the Contracting Officer may determine that a solicitation will be issued. If a solicitation is issued, no additional synopsis will be published. Any such solicitation will be issued to the intended vendor and all firms that respond to this synopsis of intent. If a solicitation is issued there will be an $8.00 fee for receipt of the solicitation package. See numbered note (0072)
