Smith (701)723-3829 Contractor shall provide all personnel, supervision, tools, test equipment, parts and materials necessary to install Category 5 Local Area Network (LAN) cabling to various locations on Minot AFB, ND as defined in the statement of work. All LAN drops and 110 Patch Panels must follow TIA/EIA 568A wiring standards. Contractor will provide all necessary brackets, hardware, tie-straps and hangers to support cable runs in an open ceiling environment. In one location, Fiber Optic Distribution cable will be installed in inner-duct and terminated in Fiber Optic Rack Mounted Patch Panels. At 3 locations, a PFT wall mount enclosure will be installed to house the Cat 5 and Fiber Optic Patch Panels. Project includes installation of Single and Duplex face-plates with Cat 5 jacks and plugs. Requirement is 100% small business set-aside. Work is not in a restricted area. Issue date is 27 Mar 97.
