Howard Nagle (312) 751-4536. Railroad Retirement Board (RRB) is a
Federal agency that administers a disability annuity program for the
nation's railroad workers. The RRB is seeking a firm to schedule and
conduct medical examinations and ancillary tests for RRB claimants and
beneficiaries applying for disability annuities and to report
examination findings to the RRB in a prescribed format. The Contractor
must conduct specified examinations and tests in strict adherence to
guidelines detailed in the solicitation. That documents will also
address the timeliness of response to examination requests, adequacy of
submitted reports, cost effectiveness, program safeguards, and the
existence of a verifiable accounting system. The RRB will seek vendor
proposals to provide either nationwide or RRB defined regional
coverage. Physicians in the firm's network must be geographically
located throughout the United States to provide these examinations and
tests at minimum inconvenience to RRB beneficiaries. The RRB does not
intend to contract with individual medical practitioners. The
Contractor will be required to provide the full range of services
outlined in the solicitation during a potential sixty (60) month period
