R -- WAREHOUSE,DISTRIBUTION AND MAILROOM SUPPORT SERVICES SOL 598-31-97 DUE 051597 POC Mike Barger(501)370-6632 or DJ Roberts (501)370-6631 R-WAREHOUSING, DISTRIBUTION AND MAILROOM SUPPORT SERVICES Contractor will perform the following administrative support services utilizing Government provided space and utilities at the Department of Veterans Affairs VA Medical Center, 2200 Fort Roots Drive, North Little Rock, Arkansas and the John L. McClellan Memorial Veterans Hospital, 4300 West 7th Street, Little Rock, Arkansas for a period of one(1) year with four(4) option years. WAREHOUSING-Receiving, storage and delivery of Government procured items. DISTRIBUTION-Manage a primary inventory point to include receipt, inventorying and issuing of Government owned/purchased items. Make both scheduled and unscheduled deliveries from the primary inventory to numerous secondary inventory points at both locations. MAILROOM-Perform a comprehensive service for the distribution and delivery of both internally and externally generated mail for both locations. The Government intends to award a single firm fixed-price contract resulting from evaluation of competitive proposals in accordance with FAR Part 15. The anticipated contract performance date is June 1, 1997. This contract will be subject to the Service Contract Act. A pre-proposal conference will be conducted on April 18, 1997 from 1300 to 1500 local time at 2200 Fort Roots Drive, Building 41, Room 219.
