RESHEW, (601) 689-8375 The Naval Oceanographic Office is seeking information concerning sources, including manufacturers, dealers, and/or distributers, for Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROV) for undersea operations. The minimum requirements shall include the following: 1000m operating depth; 380 lbs total forward thrust at operational depth; open architecture frame, 3000 foot umbilical, four (4) function manipulator arm, full video, and scanning sonar. Additional standard options and features common on Commercial-off-the-shelf ROVs are desirable. Written responses are desired and should include contractor name, address, phone number, fax number, point of contact, descriptive literature and price list(s). Two (2) complete sets of all information submitted is requested. Respondents will not be notified of either the receipt or the results of any evaluation of the information submitted.
