Contractor shall supply a Logitech PM 5 Lapping and Polishing system and accessories, operating/maintenance manuals, one year warranty, installation, and training. It is intended to award this contract to Logitech Products Group, Westlake, OH on a sole source basis. Based on a market survey, Logitech is the only company found that could provide a lapping machine that could meet our requirements for repeatable flatness, surface finish, and parallelism. There will be a final determination whether to award this requirement or not, due to the fact that this requirement is Short of Award and presently has no funds available.
