Proposals are hereby requested under Request For Proposal (RFP) N00140-97-R-1674, a subsequent solicitation document will not be issued. This acquisition is restricted to the book publisher, American Council on Education (ACE), or any reseller of their book since they are the only sources who can provide the publication (FAR 6.302-1) with the information required by the Navy. ACE has provided previous versions of this said Directory. ACE possesses the necessary resources to gather the information required within the Directory and they are the only known source who has this information readily available for inclusion in the instant publication. FISC Norfolk Det Philadelphia intends to purchase, on a sole source basis, the publication titled Accredited Institutions of Postsecondary Education 1996-1997 (ISBN 1-57356-030-8). The standard industrial classification code is 2731. Item 0001 is for Accredited Institutions of Postsecondary Education 1996-1997 (ISBN 1-57356-030-8),unit price inclusive of all shipping and handling charges (if any), Quantity of 2600 each. Deliveries shall be made to the Defense Activity for Non-Traditional Education (DANTES), Pensacola, FL. All proposals received shall specify FOB Destination, offers other than FOB Destination shall be ineligible for award.
