U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), Office of Operations, Procurement Division, synopsis for an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity A/E Services contract for mechnical/electrical and architectural services for the Headquarters Complex in Washington, D.C. that appeared in the CBD on 2-24-97 is hereby modified as follows: Consideration for this contract will be limited to firms, joint ventures, and consultants with the capability of performing all required architectural and engineering services in their own existing active production offices located in the general geographic area of the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan area (within a (50) mile radius of 14th Street & Independence Avenue, S.W.), provided that the travel time from the offerors facilities to 14th & Independence Avenue, S.W. does not exceed one and one-half hours travel time in rush-hour traffic. Failure to meet the time limitation will mean disqualification of the A/E firm. The offeror shall certify in the cover letter that the travel time from the offeror's facilities to 14th Street & Independence Avenue, S.W. does not exceed one and one-half hours travel time in rush-hour traffic. The due date for receipt of SF254 and SF255 is changed to April 14, 1997. (0073)
