Provide Architect/Engineer services to RENOVATE OPERATING ROOM FOR AMBULATORY SURGERY at the VA Western New York Healthcare System, Buffalo, NY. Work includes, but is not limited to: production of construction documents, performance of construction period services and site visits, asbestos assessment of affected areas and air monitoring, consultation/meetings/discussions with staff to establish specific program requirements. Plans/specifications will include: general upgrade to multiple surgical suites, ergonomic improvements to utilities, gases, lighting, power, controls, suction etc., electrical capacity quality increases, HVAC capacity quality increases, minor demolition for re-organization of traffic/work flow, with associated minor new construction, extension and relocations of existing utilities, hot/cold water, steam, drainage, etc., upgrade to finishes, floors, walls and ceilings, provide for improvements to communications, data and video. All work will be accomplished in accordance with the Scope of Work. NOTE: This acquisition is limited to firms located within a 75 mile radius of the VAWNYHS-Buffalo. A firm-fixed price contract is anticipated to be awarded. All interested parties are invited to submit qualifications to the Contracting Officer in the form of SFs 254/255.
