R -- PRE SORTING MAIL SERVICES SOL IFB 527-21-97 DUE 041797 POC Jo Ann Petrillo, Contract Specialist, Telephone 718 630-3566 The Veterans Administration intends to solicit bids and award one contract for "Pre Sorting" mail services at each of the Medical Facilities under VISN 3. The VISN 3 facilities are located in Castlepoint, NY; Montrose, NY; Bronx, NY; Manhattan, NY; Brooklyn, NY; St. Albans, NY; Northport, NY; Lyons, NJ and East Orange, NJ. Several of these facilities have clinics at various locations which will also be served by this contract. The contractor shall be required to at a minimum; collect mail daily at each facility, affix postage and mail via the U. S. Postal Service. The contract period shall be from date of award through September 30, 1997 with a Government option to extend the term of the contract for four (4) additional one year period. (0072)
