R -- U.S. ARMY ADVERTISING PROGRAM SOL MDA903-92-D-0035 DUE 031397 POC Point of Contact -- Contact Point, Ms. Kathy Dobeck, Contracting Officer, (703) 695-2562 Defense Supply Service Washington on behalf of the U.S. Army Recruiting Command (HQ USAREC), the U.S. Army ROTC Cadet Command (HQUSAROTCCC) and the Office of the Chief, Army Reserve (OCAR) intends to execute a "Bridge Modification" under contract MDA903-92-D-0035 to extend the period of performance from 1 April 1997 to 1 August 1997. Pursuant to FAR 6.302-1, the Requirements, Firm Fixed Price labor rates contract modification will be negotiated with only one source, Young & Rubicam, L.P., 285 Madison Avenue, New York, NY 10017-6486. The period of performance will be for a one (1) month base period with three (3) one (1) month options. The contract modification extension will allow for the continuation of the supplies and services customarily provided and performed by a full-service advertising agency. This notice of intent to issue a CONTRACT MODIFICATION is NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS, though any capability statement received within forty-five (45) days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government.
