USAID hereby announces its intention to negotiate a non- competitive follow-on contract on a sole source basis to Sigma One Corporation (SOC) for economic and financial analysis under the Ghana Trade and Investment Project. This will be an approximate nine-month follow-on award to contract no. 641-0126- C-00-3085-00 awarded in Feb. 1993. Due to the inherently related follow-on nature of USAID's requirements in Ghana, and given SOC's established relationships with the Government of Ghana, USAID has determined that SOC is uniquely qualified to provide the required additional services, and that award to any other source would result in substantial duplication of effort and unnecessary costs to USAID.
