Dimensions- Section 1: 8'-0" x 48'-0" -- Sections 2 and 3: 8'-0" x 40'-0". All sections connected by (2) "hurricane hinges" and system will include (11) exterior pile guide units. Float sections shall have triple walers with thru-rods 1'-0" on centers. Will include heavy duty cleat system with 7"x21" bearing plates. Shop drawings required for approval. Provide (2) spare exterior pile guide units. Price shall include delivery/transportation to USCG Station Sandy Hook, Highlands, NJ. The solicitation is being issued pursuant to simplified acquisition procedures. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within ten (10) days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
