Work consists of excavation and embankment, including borrow; aggregate surfacing; erosion seeding, including placement of excelsior mats; removal of existing and installation of new vault toilets; construction of log, rock and rock with cable barriers. Project is 45 miles west of Yakima, WA and can be reached by traveling 19 miles on State Highway 12, then 26 miles on State Highway 410 to Forest Service Road 19. The five locations are on the 1903 road, the 1920 road, the 1921 road, the 1900 road and the 1906 road. Estimated start work date is 6/2/97 with a completion date of 10/1/97. Bonding will be required. Government Estimate is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. (0076)
