Cromer, 816-687-5399 This acquisition was originally intended to be issued as an 8(a) national buy requirement, limited to eligible 8(a) concerns that are in the transitional stage. Based on a decision received from the Small Business Administration dated 11 Mar 97, SBA Requirement Number 7700-97-702233, this acquisition is being restricted to 8(a) firms serviced by the SBA Kansas City District Office which have Standard Industry Classification (SIC) Code 1799 among their approved SIC codes. This acquisition is further restricted to firms in the transitional stage of the 8(a) program. This synopsis modification also incorporates the following changes. The solicitation due date is changed from 030597 to read on or about 050697. The number of family housing units to be maintained is changes from 1129 units to read approximately 979 units. The anticipated performance period will be from 1 July 97 through 30 June 98, and will contain four (4) option years through June, 2002. All eligible 8(a) concerns are encouraged to requesta copy of the solicitation. Those eligible firms that have previously requested a copy of this solicitation are not required to submit another request as a result of this modification.
