It is the Government's intent to contract with the Canadian Commercial Corporation for the purchase of spare parts for Boeing 707-347C aircraft. The parts consist of three nose landing gears, S/N 65-99635-21, six engine nose cowlings, S/N 65-41416-1, five JT3D engines, S/N 18684728, 19 engine component line items, 855 aircraft component line items and three support equipment items. These parts will be used on Joint Surveillance Target Attack Radar System (Joint STARS) E-8C production aircraft. Northrop Grumman Corporation, Melbourne FL, is the Joint STARS prime contractor. These parts have been declared surplus by the Department of National Defense of Canada. The proposed contract action will be issued and negotiated on a non-competitive basis pursuant to FAR 6.302-1.
