AFB, OH 45433-7205 16 -- COMMON MISSILE WARNING SYSTEM FOR THE F-16 AIR COMBAT FIGHTER

The F-16 System Program Office, ASC/YPKKB, intends to award a contract
to provide analytical and program support for the integration of the
Common Missile Warning System (CMWS) into the United States Air Force
(USAF) F-16 Block 40/50 muti-mission fighters (450 aircraft). The
support required consists of: 1) aircraft core OFP software design,
development and associated data 2) integration of Group B GFE to
include interface control and configuration management 3) Group A
hardware design and fabrication for a common Block 40/50 kit to support
Tri-Service performance flight testing and USAF integration flight
testing, ground testing, wind tunnel testing, kit proofing and
associated data 4) Group A software development to support Systems
Integration Laboratory (SIL), threat modeling and flight testing and 5)
mission data development, support equipment hardware and software
development, training and identification of maintenance/operations
training simulator impacts. The F-16 System Prorgam Office is not able
to provide tooling or data, so the contractor must be able to perform
this effort using existing facilities and data. Lockheed Martin
Tactical Aircraft Systems is the intended source pursuant to the
authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1) (see Note 22). Direct all requests

acquisition. The only purpose of the Ombudsman is to receive and
communicate serious concerns from potential offerors when an offeror
prefers not to use established channels to communicate his/her concerns
during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. Potential
offerors should use established channels to request information, pose
questions, and voice concerns before resorting to use of the Ombudsman.
