20 -- PRE-SOLICITATION CONFERENCE FOR SHIP REPAIR SERVICES POC CWO R. Byrd (334) 441-5209 The United States Coast Guard (USCG), Fire and Safety Test Detachment (F&STD), Mobile, AL., will hold a Pre-Solicitation Conference on 11 APR 97. Although not mandatory, all interested parties are encouraged to attend. The USCG is contemplating a Ship Repair Service type contract to support the Safety and Human Resource Division, Research and Development Center, Groton, CT. The Conference will be held in two parts, on the same day; 1. A site visit to the Test Facilities between the hours of 8:00 AM through 11:00 AM, the USCG will provide launch service to and from the site. 2. An open forum at the USCG, F&STD between the hours of 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM, USCG personnel will be available to discuss technical and contract questions. CWO R. Please do not call the F&STD with your questions, but save them to be answered at the conference, so all may share in the information being provided.
