Martinez, 301/427-3958 The Department of Veterans Affairs Central Office, Acquisition Operations Service intends to issue a request for proposal for a Replacement Telephone System at the VA Medical Center, Little Rock, Arkansas, RFP 101-21-97. This will be a full and open competitiveprocurement with the following sub-contracting goals: Small Business sub-contracting to be 20 percent of the total contractvalue; Small Disadvantaged business sub-contracting to be 10 percent of the total contract value (inclusive in the 20% above);Women-owned business sub-contracting to be 5 percent of the total contract value (not inclusive in the 20 percent above as this includes both large and small women-owned businesses). Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code 1731 will form the basis of determining whether a firm is a large business or a small business.
