This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is F0470097T2610. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition circular 90-45. This acquisition is unrestricted100% small business set aside; the standard industrial classification code is 5065. The acquisition includes the following items (the following part numbers are Lockheed Martin Telemetry & Instrumentation): 1 each -- MO 1553-S-PC1533 monitor only board for single dual redundant channel; 1 each -- OPE Rack mount PC, to include 200MHZ pentium processor 32MB memory, integral PCI SCSI controller, 2-2., 15GB removable SCSI hard disk, SCSI receiving frame and carrier read/write CD ROM, 1.44 MB floppy disk, 20" color XVGA rackmount monitor, recordable CD ROM, rack slides rackmount keyboard with mouse, 10 base T ethernet and Windows 95 and 8 blank CD ROMs; 1 each -- DSM720-32-PC 20MBPS Decom/Simulator module; 1 each -- BSM 715-PC 15MBPS Bit sync (single board); 1 each -- BSC-9 Molded 9-lead bit sync cable; 1 each -- VTS for Windows, single; TCM742-PC IRIG time code reader; 1 each -- SIT780 Integration fee; and 2 each -- ADP716-PC DAC card (16 channels, 12 bits). The part numbers provided above are meant to show the Government's minimum requirements. Offerors can quote on equals. The offered system shall meet the following performance requirements: decommunicate (decode) pulse code modulation aircraft data and convert the raw data into engineering units for preflight; postflight and real time data analysis; decode and display Mil-Std-1553 bus data in engineering unit format; store the different aircraft formats, equations, and data on a CD ROM for recall. Offerors quoting on equals must provide descriptive literature to the extent necessary to allow the Government to determine the technical acceptability of the equal item.
