This notice is an amendment to the previously published synopsis/solicitation which appeared in the CBD on 03 Mar 97. The Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) has a requirement for a high performance 2 axis, planar near field measurement system and positioning and processing software that will have the capability to be upgraded in the future to include an azimuthal axis at the base of the system and a probe roll stage for dual polarization measurements at the probe location; one (1) each. The system specifications are changed whereby DC Servo Motors could be used instead of Stepper Motors. However, while the DC Motors would be acceptable, they are not preferred. Substitution of the Quick Connect >=40' motor cables is not acceptable. The closing date is changed to 27 Mar 97. All other terms and conditions remain the same.
